NEW ZEALAND RETAIL MAGAZINE : New Zealand Retail is a monthly (11 issues) magazine owned by the New Zealand Retailers Association and only available by subscription. It is dedicated to providing retailers and retail suppliers with news, features and information that can assist retailers in improving their businesses. The publication goes to decision makers within New Zealand's national major and chain retailers, retail owner-operators and suppliers to the sector.

As the magazine is read by a large cross-section of members from different retail sectors and diverse sizes of retail businesses, the magazine is an eye-catching publication with editorial content to satisfy the needs of all subscribers – right across the retailing spectrum. Annual reader surveys (both hard copy and direct calling) have consistently shown that NZRetail is valued, well-read and kept for reference. The 2006 reader survey indicated:
84% of readers keep the magazine for reference;
78% read all or most of each issue; 70% spend more than 30 minutes reading each issue;
79% said that the magazine was read by between two and five staff members; and
74% enquired about products or services featured in the magazine.
