I have been a subscriber for 3 years now. I am constantly using my back issues to plan new trips and adventures. I find the gear reviews a godsend as I know that I will be getting a product which has been used and recommended and scrutinised. My back issues are full of notes and useful hints. I especially enjoy the local and New Zealand articles. Keep up the great work!

I've been a subscriber to Wilderness for 18 months and have found it an excellent magazine wrt to outdoor experiences and equipment reviews. I find the International section a bit of a distraction given that I really want to focus on New Zealand at this time. Otherwise can't really fault it and the subscription staff I have found to be most helpful

I'm surprised at the comment by Redman - I've just subscribed to this magazine and can't fault it. Where else can you get reliable gear reviews, well written stories on the issues that affect backcountry users and a good variety of stories on where to go tramping in NZ. I love Wilderness.
