Emergence Magazine is a U.S.–based, award-winning editorial and creative publication that explores the deep interconnections between ecology, culture, and spirituality through long-form storytelling and art. Launched in 2018, it operates as an independent initiative of the Kalliopeia Foundation and publishes rich, reflective content across multiple formats — including essays, photo essays, interviews, poetry, podcasts, films, and immersive multimedia — both online and in an annual print edition.

The magazine aims to shift ways of thinking and being in relation to the living world, bearing witness to environmental change, loss, and possibility. Its contributors include acclaimed writers, filmmakers, and artists, and its work has been recognised with Webby, National Magazine Award, Peabody, and European Design Awards honours.

Emergence’s print editions are curated collections of the year’s most evocative pieces, designed to encourage “slow consumption” and deeper engagement with the stories that matter most in a changing world.
